Both the Ramada and Best Western Suites are steps away from Horizon Divers. Horizon Divers was chosen by us as our base and dive operator for several reasons: Horizon Divers has received numerous Scuba Diving Magazine Awards. Their air conditioned classroom is in the main building just steps from the boat. Their boat, "Cheeca View" is a stable dive platform providing plenty of room for housed cameras w/strobes. Overnight vented gear storage is available so students do not have to carry dive gear back to hotel lodging. They are located "oceanside" Key Largo, thus minimal time to dive sites. Perhaps most importantly our past experience has been that Horizon Divers is an operation where ammenities are more than an afterthough!.
